Such a wonderful day for a walk. Catkins, snowdrops, ploughed fields and the shaggy ponies all warming in the afternoon sun.
Creating and designing gardens from an enthusiastic beginner. Planting schemes, chickens, bees, bugs and plants all feature here. Vegetable patch, flower borders, evergreen shrubs and trees. Lessons learned along the way and helpful tips. Colour schemes, companion planting, sheds, chicken runs, greenhouse and pots. You're very welcome to join me on my journey.

A little egg-xtra than we hoped for.
I know, I hate those corny eggy word changes but it had to be done.
We've got an abundance of eggs because suddenly four of our six little ladies have come into lay. We've never had it so good. They were just in time for pancake day too, bless them.
Bigger than your average bear.
That was the size if the stack of wood we had delivered. 1.6 cubic metres, all dumped in a huge builder's bag and wrapped in black plastic. That should warm us till the Spring arrives.
Now all we have to do is move it to the wood store!
