So sorry, it's been all about work this week and when we have got home it's been too wet, too dark or we've been too tired to do anything. I've bought a lottery ticket which is a rarity for me (I don't agree with getting money if you haven't earned it) and then we can dream about gardening in sunnier climes. Oh, if only.
We had torrential rain today, I was just leaving a meeting in the city centre when a clap of thunder followed a lightning flash and suddenly there was a deluge. In the three minutes it took to get to my car I was soaked and had to drive along the lanes in the middle of the road as there were streams of water on both sides, in some parts on main roads the entire road surface was under water. As the gardeners always say when faced with lots of rain, "It's good for the garden".
Creating and designing gardens from an enthusiastic beginner. Planting schemes, chickens, bees, bugs and plants all feature here. Vegetable patch, flower borders, evergreen shrubs and trees. Lessons learned along the way and helpful tips. Colour schemes, companion planting, sheds, chicken runs, greenhouse and pots. You're very welcome to join me on my journey.

Done!
I have no news on the gardening front as all I've done this weekend was move two dwarf beans to replace the ones that have been eaten and buying three bags of sand to improve drainage. But what we have done is - duh, duh, duh (dramatic music) FINISHED THE FENCE! (well, down the side at least.) We are now dog-proof. As Luke said, "That dog has cost us £850", probably more than the neighbours paid for him. Still, we now have the fence up and almost finished (I just have to get more paint for the last few bits. Phew.
Now for the back fence!
