More snow and whilst I can see the traffic moving well on the main roads there is no clear path to get to them. So another day at home, watching the birds. I can think of worse ways to spend a day.
Creating and designing gardens from an enthusiastic beginner. Planting schemes, chickens, bees, bugs and plants all feature here. Vegetable patch, flower borders, evergreen shrubs and trees. Lessons learned along the way and helpful tips. Colour schemes, companion planting, sheds, chicken runs, greenhouse and pots. You're very welcome to join me on my journey.

Death to the mobile.
I have inadvertently washed my mobile phone on a 40 degree cycle today and consequently can't use any of the photos I've snapped on my phone. This is no bad thing as they are grainy, blurry images and really are not up to scratch. We've got lots of pics on Luke's camera so it's just a case of waiting for him to upload them so I can use them on the blog.
We have warnings of severe frosts all week so there is little chance of the snow disappearing just yet, much to the chagrin of Sylvie who had never witnessed snow and looks most put out with the abundance of wild birds taking over HER garden. The big girls have had a quick dust bath after Luke cleared away the snow outside their run but apart from that they have just huddled together and watched the wild birds pitch and fly to and from the garden.
